Northern Planks

Quick Sunday post, with apologies for the silence during the week! You won't believe me, but I've been ...working. Yes. However, since I work nights these days, I don't give a rat's ass about what polish I'm wearing for work - as long as it's not too much for my old ladies and gents, bear in mind, they were brought up during a time when puke green polishes didn't exist, and their early life is pretty much all they can remember these days.

So, last week I wore a soft lilac creme, namely OPI Planks A Lot, finished off with INM Northern Lights in silver.

This photo was shot after one full night of work - 11 hours! And you know how much soap and desinfectants I use, right? Not a single chip. Unfortunately, I can't give the OPI credit for that, but rather my Nail Tek Citra 2 base and the INM. It worked out so well I decided to do the same to my following manicure, but with OPI's San Tan-tonio instead. It lasted just as well.

    WOW. I need to rock that INM top coat more! I have both Out the Door and Northern Lights, love both! <3 This is so super pretty!

    I feel ya on that one. I have major surgery coming up and will be gone from home for ~3.5 weeks. I am limiting myself to taking 1 bottle of polish because I seriously doubt i am a) going to be able to reach my toes post op, and be, care what is on them - esp if it's not sandals time in LA other than my runs to clinic maybe one rare day I need to wear something that I take that ONLY looks right with sandals...since I have 1 pair sandals - 1 pair closed in shoes and slippers going with! Bare min. Not going to be a fashion parade or feel up to going out shopping. If something suddenly changes - there is a Sally's right across the street and I have a 15% off coupon - need to put that in my suitcase right now before I forget!

    I worked a ton of night shifts and 5pm to 3:30am shifts while I was a laboratory technologist in the hospitals. I even went without makeup but for a touch of eye product and cheek color! No one saw me buried in the lab anyway!

    Can you believe I don´t own a fine holo glitter?? When I saw this post I went "awww" and realized I couldn´t do a similar mani...So I went to TD and bought China Glaze´s Fairy Dust :P
