Sorry about the alizarine clawed paw. But you get the picture.
Shimmering nicely in the sun...
It also looks good with tarragon.
And with basil!
Now, which one was it..?
Umm...
Yes. The correct answer is: both! Index and ring is OPI Cuckoo For This Color, and middle and pinky is China Glaze Emerald Fitzgerald.
I really did suspect this.
This is actually the only way to tell them apart. The OPI one, to the left, has microglitter in it. The China Glaze does not. However, the look is the same, whether it's accomplished by microglitter or heavy shimmer (and both contain the latter). And the difference is no longer visible after applying the second coat.
You only need one of these. So save your bucks and buy the brand you like the most or can access easily.
Swedish word of the night:
smaragd -noun emerald
Because the color is as popular as ever.
Tusen takk. Nå trenger jeg ikke begge lenger. Du er en engel!
ReplyDeleteGreat comparison and I like the claw paw!
ReplyDeleteGreat dupes! Love these colors.
ReplyDeleteWow! These look lovely on you. Amazing dupes - I will be investing in the OPI I think. Even if you can't see the microglitter, I will know it's there lol!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comparison!
ReplyDeleteGreat comparisson! I got China Glaze Emerald Fitzgerald so I guess I can do without the OPI :) Thank you big time since OPI is so much more than ChG.
ReplyDeleteI was going to say, oh this one looks like emerald fitzgerald!
ReplyDeleteI am very glad you posted this, since I already bought EF and was planning to buy CFTC!
They're both gorgeous!
Oh GREAT comparison,thank you!
ReplyDeleteWow both are great colors. They look so nice on you.
ReplyDeletethanks! are they related to misa toxic seduction? or is that gem from misa much darker?
ReplyDeleteTack, tack, tack!!!
Oh wow! Thanks so much for this comparison~ you saved me :D
ReplyDeleteadore the OPI color...similar to the sephora one they have called "teal we meet again"
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this post. I will go with the China Glaze because I am not crazy the OPI Pro-Wide brush! I loveee this color!
ReplyDeleteCrystaliciousss: No, they're not that much alike actually. :) The Misa is blackened, green shimmer in a charcoal base.
