This is in total four coats of color: one coat of Y'All Come Back Ya Hear?, one of Wing It!, and then two more in the same order. Many jellies tend to come out very intense on camera, especially in strong light, so in reality you need to imagine this manicure a tad more sheer. There is visible nail line, but the shimmer hides it somewhat.
I took a couple of photos in the shade as well, in pretty low lighting. A bit more ISO grain, but a rather different overall look.
There you have it. Do you feel spring closing in in your area? And is fall coming in the southern hemisphere? Sometimes it feels so distant to imagine the opposite side of the planet experiencing an opposite season.
Also, I just noticed that "the new Blogger interface" seems to do something to the colors of the photos I upload. Most likely, automatically converting to web palette colors. I haven't noticed this before, except that the colors look dull when I view my posts on my iPhone. And while I was still using the previous interface I never noticed this. If you feel the colors have gotten less vivid in my posts (or your own, if you're a Blogger user), please let me know. I'd really appreciate feedback on this.
Swedish word of the day:
fladdra -verb flutter
Waiting for butterfly wings to do so.
This is a gorgeous combo! I'm in Florida and it's been near 80 all week, so it feels as if spring is here already.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and bright!
ReplyDeleteOh my!! Look at the gorgeous shimmer those 2 polishes created! Very pretty :)
ReplyDeleteJag känner det också. Våren är på gång, det måste den vara. Wing It! är underbart smaskig.
ReplyDeleteWow, pretty color! ♥ I love this red, it's not a classic red, it's a perfect orange-y red for spring + summer :D
ReplyDeleteYour nails look so delicious, I want to eat them! Such a vibrant, juicy color!
ReplyDeleteseriously stunning combo! Love those texas sorbets.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty polish! Jo, lite vårigt har det känts, iaf från och till den senaste veckan.
ReplyDeleteThose 2 look gorgeous together!
ReplyDeleteOOOH! I have both of these shades - thanks for the idea of doing a jelly sandwich with them! Looks great. Cold here where I live but we need tons of rain this month as by April it usually starts to dry up...so I am hoping more storms down from the Alaska current pound us all of March. I can deal with the gray dark days - grew up at the beach in the fog and as adult always lived near the beach.
ReplyDeleteLove love this polish, such a shame I didn't get it when it came out :/
ReplyDeleteAnd to answer your question, no signs of fall here, we're having a late, and super hot summer!
We are bracing for a snowstorm in my area, so it definitely feels like winter, heehee! ^-^ These nails are so bright and fun!! :D
ReplyDeleteSpring...LOL. We just had our first blizzard of the year today: 10 inches of snow in under 6 hours. I got Spring catalogues in the mail and just laughed.
ReplyDeleteGreat minds think alike! I hadn't worn Wing It since it was first released and I just took this color off after wearing it for the past three days. Weird!
ReplyDeleteWing It is one of my all-time favorite polishes! I might have to pick up that OPI to layer with it since I want to conserve:-)
ReplyDeleteThis looks gorgeous, just found your blog am now following xxx
