A metallic gem

There are things only the really thorough people discover. Things such as the existence of a few more available colors in drop-down menus, compared to the swatch squares, in webshops. My friend krex is one of those very thorough people. She notices things most of us miss out on because we're always in such hurry. Luckily, she told me. Therefore I found the most awesome LA Girl Metal polish, one completely unknown to me before. Look at it!

Metallic Olive. And I was silly enough to believe there was only one true green in the LA Girl Metal collection. But this one apparently exists too, in the drop-down menu only. And... Stunning, I tell you. This is a must have for any lover of greens. It is so, so, so beautiful. My photos aren't entirely accurate. It is more green in person. Really olive, or army green. Or mossy. Foresty mossy. Yeah. I think this one reminds me of the troll forests we have around here. Dark woods with really old, tall pines and big rocks everywhere, all covered in thick, deep green moss.

Only downside? This polish is kind of sheer. Pictured is three coats, and if I look too close, I can detect see-through spots here and there. But it's not terrible noticable, so please don't hesitate on this one of you need your greens fix.

Swedish word of the day:
kattleksak -noun cat toy
Because my daughter is in the living room playing with the cat at the moment!

  1. She helped me to realize this too, only with some Milanis. This color is awesome and I'm kicking myself for not looking at the drop-down menu when I just hauled from Cherry Culture.

  6. Arrianne: At least CC is worth ordering from on a regular basis. :) Since TD isn't an option anymore, I tend to place a monthly order with CC instead! Just pop Metallic Olive in your cart the next time. :)

    Öykü: Yes you do! :D

    krex: You know it. ;D

Lacquer Ware for Tips and Toes: Or you could just hover over the link that says "webshops" in the post. ;D
