Do I want to go to Mendocino?

Not sure what the answer to the question is, since I live far far away and haven't got a clue what kind of place Mendocino is, but if its midnight looks anything like this:

...then I wanna go! Sunlight on BB Couture Mendocino Midnight.

Indirect sun...

This is what Mendocino Midnight looks like further away from the window, and most of the time when I look down on my hands right now.

And look at this closeup!

Can you tell the actual color? It is a dark, almost black, teal, with pink shimmer and nice micro glitter. It is completely smooth with one round of topcoat, and this is two coats of color. I didn't want to ruin this photo by watermarking it, so please don't steal it (as if you would want to). ;)

Have you seen my Orthoceratite fossil? A nice thing with having limestone windowsills.

By now you already know that this absolutely stunning polish shade is part of the Vampy Varnish collection. I know Kelly have provided us with her thoughts on how she chose the names for her polishes, and I'm sure she chose Mendocino because it is a very pretty place!

I look forward to my future collection. I'll be naming my polishes Runby Working Class Hero, Väsby Chocolate Factory and Lake Mälar Depths. Doesn't quite have the same ring to it, does it? Haha!

Swedish word of the day:
midnatt -noun midnight
Because I couldn't come up with a better word right now.

  1. I love your nails!! You did an amazing job with this color. I can't wear it :( doesn't quite go with my skin tone..

  2. It's beautiful and looks perfect on you!

P.S. I love your Swedish word of the day, could I convince you to add how to pronounce them for stupid people like me? :)

  3. great colours!! wooowww...nice blog HONEY! :D I LIKE IT!!!

Follow my blog and I follow your blog:O)

i`m happy if you follow me toooo with bloglovin ;)

    KISS ;*)

  4. Gorgeous.. you really rock dark colors!

  5. Kim: Oh, in my world anyone can wear any color! If you like it, you rock it- that's how I see it. :) And thank you!

Evil Angel: Actually, I have attempted the pronounciation thing, but I just can't figure out how to make it possible to understand! Since we have vowels in Swedish that few other countries have, and those are the ones I tend to wanna use when explaining pronounciation... :D

  6. Limestone windowsills? That's awesome. As for the polish...*drools*
