Darling Diva Polish Battlestar Galactica Collection - Angel of God

What better way to be separated from a theme coming to its end, than with an Angel of God? The Darling Diva Polish Battlestar Galactica collection contains eight polishes, and, believe it or not, this is my eighth post about it. And it's all about the blonde bombshell in the top photo. She of course has an important role in this space saga, and she just happens to be of the variety that gives a gazillion nerdy guys instant hard-ons. Oddly enough, for me as a feminist, this is not a problem. The role is carefully chiseled, and actress Tricia Helfer does her part so good, that the physical appearances of the character is always secondary to the plot. This rarely happens in popular culture, and it yet again proves how extremely well done the Battlestar Galactica series is. And yes, Battlestar Galactica is very feminist.

Enough with the nerdy ramblings, and on to the polish.

Angel of God is another one of those glitters in a clear base, and in this case I chose to layer it on top of a darker, vampier red - it's China Glaze's classic Ravishing, Dahling, one of my favourite blood-like vampies. Angel of God contains a variety of red glitters, such as large hex, medium hex and small hex, plus medium sized squares. Along with this, gorgeous gold shimmer. To me, this glitter perfectly captures the essence of the character known as Six. This is definitely one of my favourites of the collection.

Let's finish off with the last wheel swatch of the series.

Like before, three coats of Angel of God by itself to the left, and to the right one coat over black. This glitter is not buildable on its own, so try it in any way you like - I bet it will look fabulous in any constellation.

Angel of God, along with all the other Battlestar galactica themed polishes and much more, is available in Darling Diva Polish' Etsy shop for 8 (star)bucks.

Swedish word of the day:
ängel -noun angel
Again with all that umlaut.
