I know, this photo is horrible, but I was so sick when I took sunny pictures this morning...
Midnight Blue glitter is very sheer by itself. The base is charcoal, but still it would probaly take four or five coats to build up to semi-opacity. This way it's ideal. Before doing my manicure, I tried on a wheel, over which blue, or black, this polish would look best. And of course, you can always trust your bottle of China Glaze Calypso Blue! I have started to think of it as a staple, and it crossed my mind, that actually Calypso Blue will be my first backup bottle. Can you believe that? I have no backups as to date!As I woke up yesterday morning, when this one was fresh from the night before, I however wished that I would have picked something a little more cheerful. My throat was so swollen and swallowing was so excruciatingly painful, that I was really, really feeling blue. Yet another case of that good ol' tonsillitis... I cannot thank the science of medicine enough, both for inventing antibiotics, and for educating great doctors, 'cause after my first dosis a few hours ago, I can already stay up for more than a few minutes a time, and... Eat!

Because it hurts.
Hope you're feeling better. I always get tonsilitis once a year. It's been this way ever since I had my second child. Someone once told me that pregnancies change the way your body ticks.

I love blues, but I don't have Calypso blue or thisw OPI? More bottles to add for the list...
