H&M - in the land of the Swedes

Don't ask. While suffering from a headache, the human brain works in mysterious ways. I guess the headline has got something to do with me living in Sweden and therefore running into the H&M at my local mall every other time I'm nearby. And here are a couple of manicures those visits resulted in.

Beauty Bandit. Medium semi-bright purple creme. Two coats. It's pretty in theory, but I didn't really like it, personally.

Colour Me Chlorophyll. Bright peagreen or citrus-y golden shimmer, borderlining metallic. Three coats. I love these zesty colors, but they come with less attractive finishes more often than I'd like. The shimmer in this one is a really heavy gold, and with a slight formula tweak, this would have been a metallic. But it doesn't reach there, and is just on the verge of being one of those rather unattractive streaky, frosty finishes. This is one of H&M's countless seasonal limited edition colors.

Swedish word of the day:
klorofyll -noun chlorophyll
Swedes use less h.

  1. I find Colour Me Chlorophyll really beautiful despite the almost-being-metal. How many coats are those? Do you think it could be work for stamping?

    1. It might be a tad too sheer, it all depends on what kind of stamping you'd like I guess.

  5. Colour Me Chlorophyll ser ju helt fantastisk ut.
