Cucumbers, all lined up

Because I've been a lousy blogger lately, I will now post on a Saturday! There was a time when I posted regularly, that I decided after a while I could take a few days a week off from blogging, and Saturday was one of those days. Now that I depend much more on momentary inspiration, one of my good days could just as well be on a Saturday. Also, I really want to show you my current manicure, because I'm in love with it. And today offered a few minutes of actual sunshine! Let's take a look at Korean Skin Food's Cucumber.

Two coats. Green, slightly jellyish base, with blue shimmer. There is a hint of visible nail line, which I personally find okay, but I believe you'd be able to get rid of it with a third coat. The product is sort of thick, and the brush (which I'm not a huge fan of) picks up a lot of it, so the two coats is well sufficient. Despite this I could only see very few bubbles, and the drying time wasn't all that bad, so it's all in all good.

Here's an additional photo that shows the base color better:

I'm completely in love, staring at my nails all the time. This is what OPI's Austin-tateous Turquoise should have been like! Though, the Skin Food shade has been on the market at least a year or two longer.

I'm not entirely sure Cucumber is an official name for this shade, as Asian roll a lot like us Europeans in that cosmetics are primarily named with numbers. I have seen this one been called Cucumber in more than one place though. I obtained it via an ebay listing, which didn't contain name, nor number, so if you're looking to get it that way, you might want to try some search bar creativity. I have bought a bunch of cheap Korean polish by simply searching for "korea nail". True story.

Swedish word of the day:
gurka -noun cucumber
They seldom look like this, though...
